Nice To Meet Me

Who I Am

I speak the language of beauty, love and success in all that I pursue, as an entrepreneur, author and speaker.

No matter how many decades of experience I gain or how much I master, the desire to learn from others and understand more never seems to fade. If I could sum up the way I think in just three words, they would be, “Why? Why? Why?” just like the kid from Big Daddy… but make no mistake; that childlike wonder is what keeps us young and makes us wise.

When I began learning the keys to success and confidence from various mentors, all of that knowledge felt like one big secret. I vowed that whatever I learned would never remain a secret again, and I would give these lessons away to help as many as I could.

This led me to creating The Giulio Show, a place for fun and open conversation.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

I immigrated from Italy with my family when I was very young and lived in an area of upstate New York where Italians from all over Italy had lived. I learned how to properly speak broken english and Italian. Growing up, I struggled in school. I believed I was dumb, as many told me, and although I couldn’t read or write very well when I got out of high school… I could listen and do things with my hands.

After attempting a semester at community college, I followed my mother Bianca’s advice… to go to beauty school and become a hairdresser. When I saw all that beauty around me, I realized I had a gift I didn’t even know I had. At one of the first hair shows I ever went to, I saw Paul Mitchell and John Paul DeJoria, and thought, “I can do that and I have to be a part of that!”

I began my career as a salon owner, then advanced to a Master Associate with John Paul Mitchell Systems, as well as a consultant, working with large franchises. I eventually graduated to owning multiple schools across the country.

I’ve always wanted a school so that I could teach people what people wouldn’t teach me; to give them the opportunity to feel like I did, to empower them to know that they could be much more.

Many schools, speaking tours, a coma, Harvard MBA and two published books later, I am now here to present The Giulio Show and share what I have learned over decades of professional and personal experiences.

THE MISSION OF THE GIULIO SHOW

I began The Giulio Show to spread knowledge through honest and entertaining conversation. Because this was something I already loved doing in my spare time, I figured I might as well make this hobby into a show! I’ve learned that there is so much more to life than politics and agenda, and there are a million other things that can bring us all together… like food. I thought, “It’s time to get back to that.”

On The Giulio Show I invite successful leaders from all walks of life and business to just sit down and talk, sharing their most interesting stories and valuable lessons. The amount of education one can absorb from a simple conversation is immeasurable, and who better to learn from than those who have not only succeeded, but have failed; one can learn a great deal from failure, and in my experience, every failure was just another discovery.

Join us for some unfiltered stifle-free conversation with guests from all walks of life, business, success and failure. We'll be sharing our most interesting life stories, raw opinions, a bunch of laughs and some heavy wisdom.
